Our Group was founded by a Belgian family, the MAIRLOT Family.
The current shareholders, François & Philippe MAIRLOT, are representatives of the third generation.
We have built up our history step by step and, of course, continue to evolve. We are proud to support you with expertise and dedication. Our goal remains to provide you with reliable, effective solutions and to build a lasting partnership with you! Our various acquisitions have allowed us to develop customised solutions to meet everyone’s expectations. At Magetra Group, we write our history together with you, day by day.
The company, shortened to Magemon SA, is active in port handling and inland waterway and road transport.
From the very beginning, we have specialised in steel transport, still an important sector of our business.
We are taking our first steps in intermodal transport between Belgium and Italy, laying the foundations for what will become Magetra Italia in 2017.
There, we joined forces with Rudniccy and founded Rudniccy-Magetra together.
This acquisition marks the development of Magetra’s own fleet and strengthens our intermodal transport activities between Belgium and Italy.
This acquisition allows us to double our fleet and expand our operations in Germany. The Eupen branch will become our headquarters.
The acquisition of the Palifor group again doubles our fleet and intensifies our activity in France, with the transformation of TPF into Magetra France in 2023. Intra-Belgian transport will become a flagship activity.
To ensure that we continue to grow and are ready to take on new challenges, we have set up a Group Steering Committee.
